1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Card Doppler (“the Service”) at carddoppler.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Card Doppler is a market intelligence platform for trading-card collectors. Features include eBay sold-price research, portfolio tracking, watchlists, and optional SMS price alerts. Certain features require a paid subscription.

3. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your account credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at carddoppler@gmail.com within 7 days of a charge if you believe you were billed in error. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically harvest data from the Service without permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Resell or redistribute Card Doppler data or outputs without written consent.
• Interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service.

Card Doppler lets you post content and interact with other users (posts, comments, profiles, images, and messages). There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to post, send, or share content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, or that depicts or promotes violence, or to harass, bully, impersonate, or abuse other users.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit. We filter submissions and let users flag objectionable content and block abusive users. We review reports and will remove offending content and terminate the accounts of violating users, typically within 24 hours. We may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion to enforce this policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The Card Doppler name, logo, software, and original content are owned by Card Doppler. Market data sourced from eBay is subject to eBay's terms. You retain ownership of content you submit (collection data, notes) and grant us a limited license to store and display it to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Price data is sourced from publicly available eBay listings and is provided for informational purposes only. Card Doppler makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of market data and is not responsible for any financial decisions made based on information displayed on the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Card Doppler shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
